Thomasina Rogers Designated Acting Chairman On February 17, 2009, President Barack Obama designated Thomasina V. Rogers as Acting Chairman of the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission. She began her service on the Review Commission in 1998, after being appointed by President Clinton and confirmed by the U.S. Senate. She previously served as Chairman from June 1999 to September 2002. In a statement, Acting Chairman Rogers stated:
Prior to joining the Review Commission, Ms. Rogers chaired the Administrative Conference of the United States and was Legal Counsel to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She is a graduate of Northwestern University and Columbia University School of Law. | ||||
