Review Commission Launches Open Government Web Page

In response to the Obama Administration’s Open Government Directive, the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission (OSHRC) has launched its Open Government Web Page at https://www.oshrc.gov/open/commission.html.  Here, you will find a collection of data sets not previously made available online by the Review Commission.  By introducing this online platform, the Commission hopes to improve public knowledge of the agency’s operations and enhance agency accountability.  The new data sets include reports on the Commission’s monthly case docket, monthly case activity, and briefing notices issued by the Commission.

The Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission is an independent Federal agency tasked with adjudicating disputes between the Department of Labor, employers, and employees arising from contested workplace safety inspections.

The information found on the new OSHRC Open Government page can also be accessed through www.Data.gov - a compendium of Federal Agency data sets.

“We remain committed to carrying out the Obama Administration’s mission of institutionalizing a culture of openness and transparency within government,” said Commission Chairman Thomasina Rogers.  “The launch of this Web Page represents our ongoing commitment to harnessing new technology and making information about the Review Commission’s operations more available to the public.”
