All OSHRC ALJ hearings and settlement conferences are now being conducted in-person. Exceptions may be permitted on a case-by-case basis within the discretion of the presiding judge in limited circumstances, e.g. joint request for remote proceeding in a settlement conference or in instances where a fact or expert witness is unavailable, and the presiding judge determines that parties are able to participate remotely.
