On October 18, 2016, an employee of Swisslog Logistics, Inc., (Swisslog) sustained a serious leg injury when he was struck by an automated trolley while working at a facility owned and operated by Wal-Mart Stores East, L.P. d/b/a Distribution Center 7019 (Wal-Mart). A compliance safety and health officer (CSHO) of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration investigated the incident and recommended citations be issued to Swisslog and Wal-Mart.
