Judge Peggy S. Ball Joins the Review Commission

Judge Peggy S. Ball joined the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission today as an Administrative Law Judge in the Denver Regional Office.  Prior to joining the Review Commission, Judge Ball was an Administrative Law Judge with the Social Security Administration - Office of Disability Adjudication and Review for eleven years, most recently serving in the Colorado Springs, Colorado office.

Previously, Judge Ball practiced law in Denver, Colorado with Pryor, Carney and Johnson where she was a shareholder and also Chair of the firm's Employment and Labor Law Committee. She also had affiliations with Lapuyade, Washington, Molk, L.L.C.   and Montgomery, Greene, Jarvis & Kolodny, where she was actively involved as lead counsel in national asbestos litigation.

Before pursuing private practice in Denver, Judge Ball served as Deputy\Chief Deputy District Attorney, Twenty-First Judicial District, Colorado and as a Special Assistant United States Attorney.  She was a Municipal Judge for the City of Fruita, Colorado. Judge Ball also served as an Arbitrator for the Colorado Department of Education where she arbitrated cases subject to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Parts 300 and 301 of Title 34 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University, Judge Ball went on to receive her Masters of Arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado and Juris Doctor at the University of Idaho College of Law where she was Associate Editor of the Law Review.
