ALJ Decision in Wright Touch Landscaping & Heavy Equipment, Inc. Becomes a Final Order of the Commission
On June 28, 2016, a tree-trimming worker was hospitalized from an incident on a residential worksite in Miami, Florida. After an investigation, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued a citation to Wright Touch Landscaping & Heavy Equipment, Inc. (Wright Touch or Respondent), alleging violations of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, 29 U.S.C. §§ 651-678 (the OSH Act) and proposing a total penalty of $9,516. Respondent filed a timely notice of contest, bringing this matter before the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission (Commission).
